Last updated: July 4, 2025 These Application Terms (“Application Terms”) govern your access and use of Korrect’s mobile applications, including the Robin app (“Application” or “App”). These Application Terms supplement our main Terms of Service, which continue to control in all other matters. In case of conflict between these Application Terms and our main Terms of Service, our main Terms of Service will take precedence. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile applications, you agree to these Application Terms.

App Store Compliance

Apple App Store

If you download our App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
  1. License: The App is licensed to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable basis solely for your use on Apple devices that you own or control.
  2. Apple’s Role: Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
  3. Warranty: If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligations regarding the App.
  4. Claims: We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims you or third parties have relating to the App.
  5. Intellectual Property: We, not Apple, are responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claims.
  6. Compliance: You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited parties list.
  7. Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Google Play Store

If you download our App from Google Play, you agree to comply with the current Google Play Terms of Service and any applicable Google policies.

Mobile-Specific Terms

Device Permissions

Our App may request access to certain features of your device, including:
  • Camera: For scanning QR codes, barcodes, and taking photos of receipts
  • Microphone: For voice notes and customer interactions (Robin only)
  • Location: For location-based features and fraud prevention
  • Storage: For saving transaction data and receipts locally
  • Network: For processing payments and syncing data
You can manage these permissions through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit App functionality.

Data Synchronization

The App may sync data between your device and our servers to provide seamless service across platforms. This includes:
  • Transaction history and receipts
  • Customer information and preferences
  • Business settings and configurations
  • Usage analytics for service improvement

Offline Functionality

Some App features may work offline, but payment processing requires an internet connection. Any offline actions will sync when connectivity is restored.

App Updates and Availability

Updates

We may release updates to the App from time to time. These updates may:
  • Add new features or functionality
  • Fix bugs or security issues
  • Improve performance or user experience
  • Ensure compliance with new regulations
You are responsible for downloading and installing updates. We may discontinue support for older App versions.

Availability

The App’s availability may vary by:
  • Geographic location and local regulations
  • Device compatibility and operating system version
  • App store policies and restrictions
We reserve the right to discontinue the App or limit its availability at any time.

Hardware Integration

Robin POS Features

For the Robin POS app specifically:
  1. Tap to Pay: Uses your device’s NFC capabilities to accept contactless payments
  2. Card Readers: May integrate with external card readers (subject to separate hardware terms)
  3. Receipt Printing: May connect to compatible receipt printers via Bluetooth or network

Device Compatibility

The App requires:
  • Compatible mobile device (iOS/Android)
  • Supported operating system version
  • Internet connectivity for payment processing
  • NFC capability for Tap to Pay features (Robin)

Privacy and Data Collection

Mobile apps may collect additional data types including:
  • Device identifiers and characteristics
  • App usage patterns and crash reports
  • Location data (if permitted)
  • Hardware sensor data for payment processing
This data collection is governed by our Privacy Policy and these Application Terms.

Prohibited Uses

In addition to restrictions in our main Terms of Service, you must not:
  • Modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the App
  • Use the App on rooted or jailbroken devices for payment processing
  • Bypass App security measures or access controls
  • Use the App to violate any app store policies

Termination

We may terminate your access to the App if you violate these Application Terms or our main Terms of Service. Upon termination:
  • Your right to use the App immediately ends
  • You must delete the App from all devices
  • Certain data may remain on your device until manually deleted

  • Account Problems: Visit your account settings or contact customer support
  • Payment Issues: Refer to our main Terms of Service and Stripe’s support

Governing Law

These Application Terms are governed by the same laws specified in our main Terms of Service.
