Last updated: June 29, 2025 When you use any Korrect products or services, you are agreeing to these latest Terms of Service (“Terms”). We’ve done our best to keep them clear, fair, and simple. Violation of these terms may, at our discretion, result in us terminating your account. We may update these Terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and notify you via the email address on file.

Definitions

To make sure we’re on the same page, here are some definitions for terms we use:
  • “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Korrect.
  • The “Services” refers to our websites (including korrect.ai) and any product created and maintained by Korrect. This includes our AI alignment product Robin, whether delivered within a web browser, desktop application, mobile application, or another format.
  • “You” or “your” refers to the person or organization that owns an account for our Services.
  • “Customer Data” means all the business information, sales data, and other content you post to the Services. This is your data, and you own it.
  • “Hardware” refers to any physical equipment, such as card readers, that you may purchase from us.

Account Terms

  1. You are responsible for your account. You must maintain the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to protect your account. We highly recommend using two-factor authentication.
  2. You are responsible for your business activities. You are responsible for all Customer Data posted and all activity that occurs under your account. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
  3. You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.

Terms for Robin Users

Payment Processing

To provide our payment services, we rely exclusively on Stripe, a global leader in online payments. This is a critical part of our service, and it’s important you understand how it works.
  1. You are a Stripe “Connected Account”. When you sign up for Robin, you are also creating a Stripe account that is “connected” to our platform. This allows us to use Stripe’s powerful features on your behalf. All onboarding and identity verification (KYC) is handled securely through Stripe Identity.
  2. You Must Agree to Stripe’s Terms. Because you are a Stripe user, you are subject to their legal agreements. By using our Services, you agree to the following terms from Stripe, which may be updated by them from time to time:
  3. We Act on Your Behalf. As the “Platform”, our software initiates activity on your Stripe account (like processing payments or issuing refunds) based on your actions within Robin. You authorize us to do this.
  4. Korrect is Not a Bank. We provide AI-powered financial assistance. We do not hold or transmit your funds, and we are not liable for transaction disputes or fraud handled by financial institutions.

Hardware

In the future, we may offer Hardware for sale to be used with the Services. Any purchase of Hardware will be governed by a separate Hardware Agreement that will cover terms related to shipping, warranty, returns, and acceptable use.

Cancellation and Termination

You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. The account owner can cancel at any time from their account settings page. For full details on our process, please see our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. Upon cancellation, your content will be immediately inaccessible. Within 30 days, it will be permanently deleted from our active systems, and within 60 days from all our backups. We cannot recover this information once it is gone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including for violations of these Terms. Suspension means you cannot access the account. Termination will result in the deletion of your account and its content.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

We are constantly working to improve our Services. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of our Services with or without notice. Sometimes we may change the pricing for our Services. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email.

Uptime, Security, and Privacy

We take many measures to protect your data through backups, redundancies, and encryption. You agree that Korrect may process your data as described in our Privacy Policy and for no other purpose. Additionally, our AI systems are designed with privacy-preserving techniques to protect your sensitive information. On rare occasions, we may need to access your data to help with a support request or to fix a system error. We will always ask for your consent before doing so unless it’s a security-related emergency. You own all the Customer Data you post to the Services. We claim no ownership rights over it. However, you give us a limited license to use your Customer Data, but only so we can provide and improve the Services for you. We own the Services and all of our intellectual property. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements of our Services without express written permission from the Company. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services without the express written permission of the Company.

Liability and Disclaimers

Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide them on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard to provide a great service, but we can’t guarantee it will be perfect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide our Services without any warranty of any kind. You expressly understand and agree that Korrect shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. In no event will our total liability for all claims related to the Services exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

How We’ll Handle Disagreements

We hope to never have a dispute, but if one arises, we both agree to first try to resolve it by contacting the other party and negotiating in good faith. If we can’t resolve the dispute through negotiation, we agree to resolve it through final and binding arbitration on an individual basis (not as a class action). These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
